Maria Collection

The Maria White collection was created in 1916 by the founder of the brand, Philipp Rosenthal Sr. He dedicated it to his beloved wife Maria.

The inspiration was an early 19th century silver tea set that Philip found while traveling in England. The design is influenced by two styles: classicism and romanticism. Strict geometric shapes are softened by a smooth relief in the form of a traditional pomegranate pattern.
